A Story of Salvation

During a Tuesday distribution, two young men led Carlos (in blue) to Christ. Kaden (Intern in black shirt) and Anthony (new volunteer in tan shirt).

Anthony explained to Carlos that he no longer needed to live as a thief using fentanyl and instead could be made new; that he could contribute instead of take but that he needed Jesus above everything else.

He shared Ephesians 4:28 “Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.”

To see young men be ambitious to lovingly call sinners to repentance and then accurately explain what new life in Christ, it stirs our faith and reminds us why we must do this.

Please pray for Carlos as he has committed to serving at City Hope and attend Christ Church Central Phoenix.
